Artfully Untamed Florals
Creating a couple's wedding florals is an exciting and very special privilege to be given. My approach is friendly and relaxed while working hard in the background to plan your florals and designs allowing you to relax and feel confident trusting that your flowers will be designed with the passion and care that your day deserves.
I make sure I understand all the tiny details of your wedding and personally consider all of these in the design process meaning your florals will melt seamlessly into your day, offering a heavy dose of floral style while subtly enhancing the whole aesthetic. I pride myself on being able to capture the essence of what you're trying to achieve (even when you find it difficult to explain!) by putting together a mini mood board to go with your initial proposal so you can instantly visualise the overall look and palette.
My approach to my work is as environmentally conscious and sustainable as possible, working with amazingly talented local growers to choose the best home grown seasonal florals and foliage. I limit my use of single use plastics as much as possible and I never use harmful floral foam, instead creating mechanics that are reusable and leave no trace on the land.
My signature style is unstructured, sort of wild, filled with hand selected seasonal blooms and plenty of interesting foliage for a real nature inspired feel as depicted in the images in my gallery below. I love to come up with unique and beautiful colour palettes and work with the quirky bends of the stems to celebrate the flowers natural shape, for me this makes the whole design feel more organic and look more enchanting.

Hello! I'm Lucy, a wedding and event florist. I work from my Somerset based studio and flower weddings all over the south west for those who want seasonal, creative florals with an emphasis on natural shapes and styling, sustainable methods and personalised colour palette creation to make your floral dreams come true. Growing up in Devon, my countryside upbringing and my grandmother's bountiful garden and flora oil paintings are what sparked my love of flowers from a young age.
I've always had a creative background which took me to London for 9 years where I worked for some great British brands such as Whistles, Liberty of London and Burberry. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion and a passion for all things art, styling and interior design so these all feed the inspiration for my vision of artfully untamed, slightly wild floral design.
After helping with some friend's wedding flowers, I instantly became captivated by working with them, I joined a Flower School in London and before long was swapping the office for the flower market and set up my business. My design style is full of interesting shapes, details and textures, welcoming the delicate bends of each stem allowing them to move as nature intended. I work with seasonal flowers in colour palettes personally designed to capture the essence of your occasion whether the look you want to achieve is elegant and ethereal, vibrant and artful or heavy with dark hued romance the possibilities are endless.
I take pride in my work down to every small detail to give you florals that are memorable, personal and one of a kind, bringing to life a vision from the very first sprig of inspiration, colour palette creation, right through to the final design and installation.
