I make sure that I understand all the tiny details of your wedding and personally consider all of these in the design process meaning your florals will melt seamlessly into your day, offering a heavy dose of floral style while charmingly enhancing the whole aesthetic. As a creative and designer, I pride myself on being able to capture the essence of what you're trying to achieve (even when you find it difficult to explain!) by putting together a mood board to go with your initial proposal, filled with images of seasonal flowers and inspiration so you can instantly visualise how your day is going to look and make you feel.
I create abundant, stylish, design-led luxury florals that are rooted in the seasons and inspired by nature. I specialise in colour palette creation and matching you with the perfect blooms for your day to elevate and bring to life your vision, crafting exquisite memorable floral moments for your most special celebration.
I offer a Bespoke florals service all year round and can include elements of styling such as candles and fruit pairing alongside your florals to perfectly compliment your day. For 2027 bookings during peak wedding season May-September my Bespoke service carries a minimum investment of £3000

Lucy Charlotte Floral Design is a creative flower studio based in beautiful Ilminster Somerset, established in 2019 by Lucy Cripps our creative director. The studio works with the seasons and British flower farmers as much as possible to bring our artfully untamed, romantic and abundant florals to weddings and events across the south west region from Cornwall to the Cotswolds.
Lucy specialises in bespoke florals that are designed individually for each client to set the tone and mood for the day, with a particular eye for unique colour palette creation ensuring her floral designs represent the individuality of each event and it's setting. She loves to design and create with what is growing seasonally taking inspiration from nature, art, textiles and interiors to achieve her signature style which can be explored in the portfolio.
Sustainable methods and ethical ways of working is of great importance, the studio is 100% free of using harmful floral foam in all work, instead opting for natural and more environmentally friendly reusable mechanics to construct and install designs and arrangements.
The studio is proud to work closely with its clients and event planners on each small detail to give you florals that are memorable, personal and one of a kind bringing to life a vision from the very first sprig of inspiration, mood board creation, right through to the final design and installation.
